Ohderii Projector, LED Lumens 1800ANSI Luminous efficiency 180" LED Mini Home Projector
Bought this to serve as my first attempt at a backyard movie theater. I was leary to go with such a cheap model and only 1800 lumens (lumens is the only thing I understand about projectors at this point)...more lumens equals brighter picture...right?
Regardless, this starter projector was a gamble at best. I was not expected to be blown away...but....blown away is exactly what I was!
The 1800 lumens is perfect to get the party started. Picture is great at dusk from about 6-8ft away..maybe a bit more, I didn't measure...too excited.
I'm using 1inch pvc pipe frame and a white fitted sheet giving me almost a 10ft wide x 5 ft tall screen. This projector fills it perfectly and the picture is clear and colorful.

The sound quality isn't horrible for an "on-board" speaker, but I went ahead and bought the Logitech Z313 Speaker system to pair with the projector. It has two decent speakers and a small sub-woofer. The combination of the two is flat out awesome!
So for less than $200 bucks...projector $100, speakers $35, pvc frame parts $50 maybe, and a fitted white bed from Wal-mart $5...my backyard movie nights can begin!
